WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Anthony Girard (Chestertown, N.Y.) put the Hawks on the board first, drilling a three.
- Stevenson answered with a three-pointer of their own, but Liam Drennan (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) put Hartwick ahead 5-3 with a layup.
- Unfortunately for the visiting Hawks, the Mustangs would go on a 10-point run to take control of the first half.
- Hartwick gained momentum in the second half, going 3-8 from behind the arc and 15-17 at the line, but it was not enough to overcome their early deficit.
- Sammuel Prosper (Milford, Mass.) led the Hawks with 13 points, going a perfect 4-4 from the line.
- Jeremiah Boateng (Springfield, Va.) and Cooper Francis (Lynbrook, N.Y.) flirted with double-digit rebounds, finishing with nine and eight respectively.
