CORTLAND, N.Y. – Hartwick came out swinging in their first game on Saturday defeating Fredonia 3-0, but fell to host SUNY Cortland 0-3 in the night cap.

- After bringing home two wins on Friday, the Hawks returned to the court to pick up their third straight win against Fredonia in straight sets on Saturday afternoon.
- The Hawks put away a total of 33 kills in the match while forcing the Blue Devils into 27 attack errors.
- Hartwick also posted a total of 14 blocks and 37 digs across the three sets.
- Shaelyn Thorton (Scarborough, Me.) paced the attack with 12 kills, while Kaileigh Brandow (Manorville, N.Y.) put away 10 kills.
- Braelyn Hornick (Candor, N.Y.) facilitated the offense tallying 22 assists.
Hartwick vs St. Lawrence
- The Hawks offense sputtered in the Red Dragon Classic finale against the host school, SUNY Cortland.
- The Red Dragons posted a .440 hitting percentage across the three sets and 40 total kills.
- Hartwick picked up 21 total kills, but were also forced into 24 attack errors.
- Brandow and Staecia Silofau (Kapolei, Hawaii) each posted six kills in the second match, while Colette Maloney (Williston Park, N.Y.) added five.
