ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hawks scored early and often, defeating the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs 5-0 on Wednesday night.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawks dominated the Mustangs from start to finish out shooting the visitors 16-3 in the first half and 10-3 in the second.
- Will Napierala (Endwell, N.Y.) started things off for Hartwick in the 10th minute of play, beating his defender off the dribble and scoring to the bottom left corner.
- Matteo Sweet (Shoreham, N.Y.) gave the Hawks the 2-0 lead in the 36th minute, putting away a rebound off of the Morrisville goalkeeper.
- The Hawks took a commanding lead in the second half, scoring in the 51st minute and the 52nd minute. Ethan Kaiser (Red Hook, N.Y.) notched the tally in the 51st minute, while Ansh Budhwar (Delhi, India) scored in the 52nd minute.
- Kwame Amissah-Arthur (Waterbury, Conn.) capped the Hawks scoring in the 88th minute.
- Aden Razukiewicz (Warwick, N.Y.) and Jackson Gilstrap (Bethlehem, Pa.) combined for the clean sheet, with Razukiewicz earning the victory.
UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS
The Hawks will turn their attention to Mayor's Cup action with a 4 PM kickoff against Hobart on Saturday, September 10. The event also marks the first "Code Blue" game of the fall.
