Hartwick squared up against the Gators to complete their regular season, the squad came out ready to set the tone.

The Hawks built an early attack that proved to be very dangerous as Jim Mahony(Bournemouth, England) spotted and delievered the ball to Daniel Kniffen(New Paltz, N.Y.) who put it past the keeper for the first goal of the game in the 8th minute.

Grabbing an early lead, the team controlled possession for the majority of the half. Completing passes in the midfield as well as allowing very little time for Sage to make a decision before they were swarmed by the Hawk defense.

The first half came to a close with Hartwick outshooting their opponents five to two, both teams had 0 first half corners.

With the second half underway, the Hawks kept up the pace generating a shot on goal just five minutes in.

Hartwick would soon find the back of the net after Thomas Herzog(Ridge, N.Y.) sent a cross into the box and Timmy McQueeney(Wading River, N.Y.) would rise above the defenders and head the ball into the goal in the 71st minute.

The Hawks totaled sixteen shots on the day, picking up the momentum in the second half to get five corners and Aden Razukiewicz(Warwick, N.Y.) picked up the lone save of the day.
