Hawks Fall to Cardinals in Season Finale

ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hawks celebrated senior, Erin Novak (Somers, Conn.) prior to their final contest of the 2022-2023 season against St. John Fisher.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
 
  • The Hawks held the Cardinals to just five points until just under two minutes remaining in the opening quarter.
  • Fisher turned things on at the end of the first and into the second quarter to take a 31-17 lead over the Hawks by the end of the second quarter.
  • The Cardinals continued to extend their lead throughout the second half to defeat Hartwick 64-36.
  • Bree Fargnoli (Binghamton, N.Y.) led the Hawks with eight points and was closely followed by Alexis Mark (Patterson, N.Y.) with seven.
  • Erin Novak (Somers, Conn.) ended her collegiate career with four points, one rebound, and one assist.
