Hartwick faced off in a physical matchup with Morrisville, from the starting whistle both teams tried to set the tone and gain an advantage over one another.

After a couple unsuccessful pushes from both sides, the Hawks formed the first dangerous attack pushing down the field with purpose. Jose Moreno (San Luis Potosi, Mexico) battled an opponent for the ball and was able to dish it off to Jake Daly (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) who hit a missile in the upper left corner from just outside the box to gain a 1-0 lead in the 24th minute.

With the first half coming to the end, Hartwick posted five shots which was two more than the opposition. The offense displayed plenty of forward progress, posting four corners in the half.The Hawks controlled the middle well, dominating possession and making the right passes to create space for another attack.

The Hawks made sure to set the tone starting the second half, waiting on an opportunity to extend their lead. Daly struck again catching the defense off guard and scoring his second goal of the game in the 57th minute to put them up two.

Terriek Brown (Greene, N.Y.) found the back of the net just 8 minutes after the prior Hawks goal, putting it past the goalkeeper with finesse for the third and final goal of the game.

Hartwick posted 12 shots on their way to another shutout victory, Aden Razukiewicz (Warwick, N.Y.) commanded the Hawks backline as he notched his second clean sheet of the season.
