ALBANY, N.Y. – The Hawks suffered another Empire 8 loss on Wednesday night, falling on the road at Sage in conference play.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Gators came out on fire in their home gym, shooting 50% from the field across the first 20 minutes of action to put the Hawks back on their heels 39-21.
- Eighteen of Sage's points came from down low in the first half, while the Hawks were only able to tally eight points in the paint.
- The Hawks were able to get things moving offensively in the second half, scoring 35 points behind the post play of Henry Perkins (Albany, N.Y.) and Jeremiah Boateng (Springfield, Va.).
- Unfortunately, the second half push was not enough to overcome Sage's first half lead and the Hawks ultimately fell 76-56 on the road in Empire 8 action.
- Perkins ended the night as Hartwick's leading scorer with ten. The first year also pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.
