ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams picked up their first dual meet wins of the season over the King's College Monarchs on Saturday afternoon.

- Men: Hartwick 156, King's 62
- Women: Hartwick 168.5, King's 28.5
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The two teams set the tone early with all three of the men's and women's 200-yard medley relay squads finishing 1, 2, 3 to open the meet.
- Jillian Ferrie (Middle Grove, N.Y.) set the pace in the 1000-yard freestyle with an 11:54.32.
- Owen James (St. Lutz, Fla.) picked up the win on the men's side with a time of 11:21.31.
- The Hawks went on to pick up at least first and second place finishes in 12 more heats to break away from the Monarchs.
UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS
Both teams will play host to Marywood and Ramapo on Saturday, October 26. Diving is set to begin at 9 AM with swim heats to follow at 1 PM.
