WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The Hawks set the tone early as Lily Vanuga (Springville, N.Y.) and Samantha Lantzy (Valatie, N.Y.) cruised through their third doubles match in an easy 8-0 win.
  • First and second doubles followed suit as each pairing walked away with 8-4 wins.
  • Lantzy was the first to come off the court in the singles round, defeating her third singles opponent 6-2, 6-3 to give the Hawks the 4-0 advantage.
  • Vanuga clinched the win at fourth singles with a straight set 6-1, 6-0 win.
