ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Hartwick Women's Swim and Dive Team were firing on all cylinders, defeating the SUNY Delhi Broncos in their final dual meet at Moyer Pool.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The afternoon began with a photo finish in the 200 yard medley relay, Avery Sommo (Slingersland, N.Y.), Courtney Pierce (Fulton, N.Y.), Dani DeCarlo (Whitesboro, N.Y.), and Morgan Einsettler (West Islip, N.Y.) just beating out fellow Hawks by .15 seconds, posting a two minute and six second finish.

• Anna Bischoff (Oneonta, N.Y.) was first to touch the wall in the 500 yard freestyle, clocking in at five minutes and 50 seconds.

• Katherine Viera (South Windsor, Conn.) took the 200 yard freestyle with a time of two minutes and eleven seconds. Viera also earned first place in the 100 yard breaststroke, clocking in at one minute and seventeen seconds.

• The 50 yard backstroke followed and Aubrey Vaile (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) earned first place, timing in at 30.38 seconds.

• Courtney Pierce (Fulton, N.Y.) collected her first individual event of the afternoon, completing the 50 yard breaststroke in 32.59 seconds.

• Savannah Evans (Livermore, Calif.) posted a one minute and four second finish in the 100 yard butterfly, taking first place.

• Hartwick continued to roll as Allison Neelands (Philomath, Ore.) placed first in the 50 yard freestyle with a mark of 28.80 seconds.

• Following a short intermission, Annabelle Lindsay (Hudson Falls, N.Y.) and Marielle Rodriguez (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) prepared themselves for the one meter diving event. As the only two divers of the afternoon, Lindsay placed first with a score of 195.65 and Rodriguez followed closely with a score of 193.30.

• Kate Gucciardi (Cicero, N.Y.) got the swimming action started once again, taking first place in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of one minute and one second.

• Amanda Wilbur (Watkins Glen, N.Y.) took the 100 yard backstroke, finishing at one minute and nine seconds.

• Jillian Ferrie (Middle Grove, N.Y.) earned first place in the 400 yard IM, finishing the event in five minutes and five seconds.

• Rodriguez posted a score of 204.75 and Lindsay scored 187.60 to wrap up diving for the afternoon.

• Min-Syun Chen (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), Sophia Soprano (Auburn, N.Y.), Neelands and Evans capped off the dominant day for the Hawks, finishing the 200 yard freestyle relay in one minute and 52 seconds.
