GREENSBORO, NC. – Mikey Schultz (Binghamton, N.Y.) represented the Hartwick Hawks in the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, competing in the 100 yard butterfly on Day Two.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Mikey Schultz qualified for the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships with a one minute and forty eight second finish in the 200 yard butterfly this season. With that qualifying mark, Schultz will race in the 100 yard and 200 yard butterfly over the next two days.

• The 100 yard butterfly consisted of five heats for a total of 35 swimmers.Mikey's 49.04 second finish earlier this season which is a school record, placed him in the second heat.

• Schultz was fourth to hit the wall in his heat of eight, completing the 100 yard butterfly event in 49.52 seconds in a tight race with a 26.42 split.

• Mikey's time of 49.52 seconds placed him 30th overall to end the second day of competition.

Schultz will prepare for the 200 yard butterfly event at the NCAA DIII Swimming and Diving Championships, tomorrow March 22nd, prelims are set for 10 AM.
