Season Ends for Men’s Lacrosse in E8 Semis

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Hawks saw their 2024 campaign come to a close with a 30-7 loss at St. John Fisher on Wednesday afternoon.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
 
  • The top-seeded St. John Fisher University Cardinals asserted themselves early against the Hawks on their home turf, scoring twelve-straight goals across the first 18 minutes of play.
  • Colin August (Garrison, N.Y.) broke Hartwick's scoring drought, picking up an unassisted tally at the 9:16 mark of the 2nd quarter.
  • A minute and thirty seconds later, Garrett Frost (Wading River, N.Y.) put the Hawks on the board again off of a feed from Shayne Kerrigan (Foxborough, Mass.).
  • The Cardinals continued to add on to their lead, scoring another seven-straight.
  • Frost picked up back-to-back man-up goals to break up Fisher's run at the 7:10 and 6:03 marks in the 3rd.
  • Hartwick found the back of the net three more times before the contest would wind down, two of which came from Tyler Nocito (Mahopac, N.Y.) while the other came from Daniel Beltran (Huntington Station, N.Y.).
