BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Hawks carried the momentum over from last weekend into today, picking up another big Empire 8 win over new conference opponent, SUNY Brockport.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawks made quick work of their opponents in every match, defeating all of their opponents in straight sets.
- Alexandra Krasinska (Pine Island, N.Y.) and Gianna Leggieri (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) set the tone early at 1st doubles putting the Hawks on the board with an 8-2 win.
- 3rd doubles pairing of Lily Vanuga (Springville, N.Y.) and Samantha Lantzy (Valatie, N.Y.) gave Hartwick their second point, winning 8-3.
- Ryann Ashby (Malta, N.Y.) and Colleen Marsh (Marcellus, N.Y.) rounded out the doubles scoring with an 8-2 win in the #2 slot.
- Every singles match for the Hawks was finished in straight sets.
- Highlighting the singles round was Krasinska with a 6-0, 6-0 win at 1st singles and a 6-0, 6-0 win at 6th singles for Maggie Van Valkenburgh (Highland, N.Y.).
- "The team was able to stay poised and focused in today's match," noted Head Coach Samantha Butcher. "From top to bottom, we implemented our strategies and stuck to our individual game plans."
