WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Hartwick generated the first shot of the game at the four minute mark to get the first half underway.

The Hawks continued to pressure the Nazareth defense, putting up three more shots before the Golden Flyers responded with a shot of their own.

Neither shot would be on target as the teams battled for possession in the midfield, looking for any gaps in the defense.

Hartwick would slow down the Nazareth attack, holding them to 0 shots for the rest of the half as they worked their way into the Golden Flyers' half of the field.

The quiet first half would come to a close with the teams earning two corners each and Hartwick leading the shot chart seven to two.

Nazareth's offense came alive in the second half, earning an early corner and scoring their first goal of the game in the 48th minute.

The Golden Flyers struck again, scoring in the 51st minute and the 57th minute to widen their lead to three.

Andres Ordonez Acosta (Estado de Mexico, Mexico) and Jake Daly (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) generated the best chances for the team in the second half, but were turned away by the Naz keeper.

Hartwick battled to get back in the game but the Nazareth attack would prove to be too much to handle as they scored two more goals with their final score coming in the 82nd minute to wrap up the conference contest.

"We were very good in the first half, but we didn't show up for the second half. We all know it wasn't good enough and we will work hard to make it better."
