Men's Swim and Dive Roll Past Delhi in Home Dual Meet

ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick men's swimming and diving team defended their home pool with a complete team performance, defeating the Broncos of SUNY Delhi on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hartwick men made the most of their return to Moyer Pool, securing a convincing victory over Delhi. The 200-yard medley relay set the tone early, as the quartet of Keegan Burkhardt (West Hurley, N.Y.), Karim Mohamed (New Hartford, N.Y.), Matthew Cole (Wolcott, N.Y.), and Bryce Rogers (Fulton, N.Y.) claimed first with a time of 1:47.49.

Mahdi Behniaye (Hannibal, Mo.) followed with a win in the 400-yard individual medley, touching in 4:37.10, while Sam Rosen (Selkirk, N.Y.) kept the momentum rolling by taking the 200-yard freestyle in 2:02.31. Hartwick stacked on six more individual victories, with Rogers earning two before Delhi briefly halted the run with a win in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Cameron Drake (El Cajon, Cal.) quickly got the Hawks back in rhythm, winning the 500-yard freestyle just under the five-minute mark. Rogers then capped his standout afternoon with a third victory, posting a 24.62 to claim the 50-yard butterfly.

Hartwick closed out the meet with a dominant 171–63 win over the Delhi Broncos as they head into the break.
