Hartwick opened up their fourth consecutive road contest with Henry Perkins (Albany, N.Y.) leading the charge, scoring the first nine points for the squad.

A barrage of three pointers from all over the floor from the Saxons broke open the contest with the Hawks reeling at the halfway mark.

Joey McLaurin (Mastic Beach, N.Y.) and Isaiah Thomas (Manitou Springs, CO) each drilled a three pointer and an interior score as they chipped away at the deficit with under five minutes remaining in the first quarter.

Perkins led the scoring with 13 at the half, but the team struggled to keep up with Alfred's red-hot shooting from beyond the arc, with them sinking eight three pointers in the half.

The Hawks opened the second half with a Xymier Thomas (Binghamton, N.Y.) jumper to get momentum going.

Henry Perkins continued to have his way in the painted area, going 4-4 in the second half as the team inched forward.

Hartwick's offense would go cold as the Saxons continued to hit from the field, McLaurin broke the cold streak but the Hawks had the clock working against them.

The Royal Blue and White were unable to draw within reach, wrapping up their four game conference road trip, Perkins poured in 22 points on 75% and seven rebounds to lead all scorers, McLaurin followed with ten.
