ONEONTA, N.Y. – Freshman
Kevin Zheng (Chino Hills, Calif./Ruben S. Ayala) of the Hartwick men's swimming and diving team was named the Empire 8 Men's Swimmer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday. The honor is the first of his career and the first team honors since November of last year when

He swam the 100-yardd freestyle in 47.76, 50-yardd freestyle in 21.52 and the 100-yard butterfly in 53.31. He was the lead-off swimmer in the relay, recording his lowest split time of the day at 21.49 for his 50 yards.
The swimming and diving teams are back in action this weekend at home, taking on both Ramapo and Oswego State on Saturday, Oct. 24 in the Sally Griffiths Herbert '88 Aquatic Center/Moyer Pool.
