ONEONTA, N.Y. -  United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced its College Team Academic Award recipients for the 2025-26 academic year on Friday, with both the Hartwick men's and women's soccer programs earning recognition for their outstanding efforts in the classroom.

The Hartwick Women's Soccer team turned in another well-rounded year, continuing its upward trajectory both on the pitch and in the classroom. Head Coach Brian Knapp's squad compiled an impressive 3.57 cumulative grade point average during the 2025-26 academic year.

Hartwick Men's Soccer also posted a strong academic showing, finishing the year with a 3.29 team grade point average. Head Coach John Scott's perennial postseason squad will look to carry its success both on and off the field into the upcoming 2026 campaign.

A total of 781 soccer teams (329 men and 452 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher to earn the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of those programs, 178 institutions had both their men's and women's teams recognized, including Hartwick.
