2012: Tied for the team lead in overall singles wins with six and conference wins with four … competing at the second, third, and fourth singles flights … defeated opponents from Sage, Elmira, Alfred, St. John Fisher, Wells, and Utica … teamed with Rebecca Clark to lead Hartwick in doubles with five victories … duo knocked off four conference doubles teams from Elmira, Alfred, Fisher, and Utica … named Empire 8 Tennis Player of the Week on 9/19 after winning both singles and doubles matches against Alfred and St. John Fisher … received Empire 8 Conference Honorable Mention in singles and in doubles.

2011: Had an overall 6-4 singles record and 5-2 in the Empire 8 which was a team best ... went 4-3 at fourth singles and 2-1 at fifth singles ... paired with Rebecca Clark at third doubles and went 5-1 ... received an Empire 8 Honorable Mention ... named team MVP.

2010:  Went 3-4 playing at sixth singles.

2009: Had a 5-4 combined record playing at both fifth and sixth singles ... finished 4-2 in the Empire 8 ... won first collegiate match at the RPI Invitational ... paired with Carly Jesset, Margaret Kipferl, and Kathleen Watson in third doubles going a combined 2-4 with both wins paired with Watson.

Personal: Born 10/5/91 ...daughter of Linda and Rich Michels ... psychology and sociology major.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Clinton High School where she was inducted into the National Honor Society ... volunteer firefigher/EMT.
