Earned spot on NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad for second time in two tries … received Phillip S. Wilder, Jr. Award for academic distinction … played in four games for the Hawks … had three shots and one assist .. also played lacrosse ... played in and started six games for the Hawks … had five goals and three assists … scooped four ground balls … caused three turnovers … registered a hat trick and three ground balls in win at Keuka (4/10) … tallied and had two assists in Empire 8 First Round win over Russell Sage (4/27).
2019-20: Named to 2019 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad ... selected to Empire 8 Spring 2020 President's List ... received Phillip S. Wilder, Jr. Award for academic distinction … played five games for the Hawks in her first year with the program … scored two goals on five shots … registered a goal on four shots (all on goal) in 8-2 win vs. Morrisville (9/6) … had a goal in 9-0 win at Wells (10/9) ... also played lacrosse ... participated in all three games for the Hawks in her freshman season … scored four goals, ranking fifth on the team, also tying for fifth with five points … had two caused turnovers and two ground balls … picked up two goals on two shots, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers in season-opening win vs. Mount St. Mary (2/29).
Prior to Hartwick: Attended Commack High School … played one year of field hockey and lacrosse for the Cougars, and ran four years of winter track.
Personal: Hobbies includes working out and going to the beach … favorite musician is Post Malone … daughter of Salvatore Matarazzo … majoring in Psychology.
Why Hartwick? “Hartwick felt like the perfect school for me as soon as I stepped foot on campus. I loved the personal, one-on-one attention I received from everyone there. Also, I was given the opportunity to play two of my favorite sports for the Hawks, field hockey and lacrosse.”
