Dan Haynes begins his third season as an assistant coach at Hartwick in 2016-17.
Prior to Hartwick, he spent two seasons coaching at SUNY Cobleskill, where he was responsible for practice planning, individual player development, recruiting, and scouting. Prior to Cobleskill, he was the varsity boys’ basketball coach at Downsville Central and DH5 All-Star AAU team for four seasons.
Haynes graduated from Daniel Webster College in 2008 earning a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. He played soccer, basketball, and baseball and was a team MVP and 2-year captain.
A graduate of Downsville Central, Haynes was a part of three straight section championship teams which posted an 88-9 record over four seasons. He was a Daily Star First Team All-Star his senior year. Â Â Â
