David Wadas

David Wadas begins his third season as the assistant men’s basketball coach in 2015-16.

Wadas came to Hartwick after spending two years as an assistant coach at Oneonta State. Among his responsibilities with the Red Dragons was planning practices, scouting, and recruiting along with scheduling off-season and in-season workouts.

Wadas was a two-year member of the Oneonta State men’s basketball team. He was a part of the 2009-10 squad that posted a 22-7 record and participated in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1977. In 2011, he was named to the SUNYAC All-Academic Team.

Wadas has served as a head coach at the Greg Koubek Overnight Basketball Camp in Brant Lake Camp, NY. He was also a head coach and referee at the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragon Camp.

A 2011 graduate of Oneonta State, Wadas has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics.
