Kevin Lerg

Kevin Lerg begins his fourth year as Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Hartwick College in 2020-21. In his first two seasons, he helped the Hawks qualify for the Empire 8 Conference semifinals.

Lerg, a former standout player at Adrian College, arrived at Hartwick after spending two seasons as an assistant at Hiram College in Hiram, OH.
 
While at Hiram, Lerg served as both the Recruiting Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator for the Terriers. He spearheaded all facets of the defense and goalkeeper training, including practice planning, pregame preparations, in-game coaching, scouting, and film breakdown. Lerg also coached club with Force Lacrosse out of Bedford Heights, OH.
 
Prior to Hiram, Lerg served as Goalkeeper Coach and Volunteer Assistant Coach at Division I Virginia Military Academy. While working with the Keydets, he coordinated all goalkeeper training, assisted with defensive units, and was responsible for all film editing and breakdown.
 
As an undergraduate, Lerg played four years of lacrosse at Adrian College in Michigan. The two-time captain helped the Bulldogs to four straight NCAA Division III Tournaments and a conference record of 33-0. He was a three-time All-Conference player, a 2012 All-Academic team member, and finished his career as the program’s all-time leader in victories.
 
Lerg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Adrian in 2014. He secured a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Hiram this past spring.
