Rich returns as an assistant coach for his third year in 2015-16.
Before arriving at Hartwick, Petillo was the head varsity lacrosse coach at Harborfields High School on Long Island. Prior to that, he was an assistant lacrosse coach with Sachem North High School.
Since 2007, he has been the owner of Nor’Easter Lax. He organizes and operates lacrosse summer leagues for men and women as well as a summer camp for K-8 and a high school recruiting showcase.
Petillo has a BBA in Business Computer Information Systems from Hofstra University. While at Hofstra, he was a three-year starter on the football team and a four-year starter on the lacrosse team. He also served as a captain of both squads.
