Biography

2019-2020: True Blue Award winner ...  on swim team, had 46.5 dual-meet and 87 total points this season … picked up 35.5 points at Allegheny Empire Championship … at conference championships, finished ninth in 100 back, 16th in in 100 fly, and 25th in 50 free … had one win and one second-place finish on the season … was also a part of four relay wins and three second-place relay finishes.

2018-2019: In outdoor track, registered a season-best distance of 37.00 meters in the javelin at the Hamilton Midweek Meet (4/16) … threw 34.04m at the Empire 8 Championships at Houghton (5/3) ... in swimming, eighth on the team with 134.5 dual meet points and tenth with 174.5 total points … had 14 points at the Empire 8 Championships, competing in the 100 fly and 100 back … secured eight individual (seventh on the team) and four relay wins on the season … also had six individual and seven relay second-place finishes … was a part of tenth-best 200 medley relay time in program history (1:35.29).

2017-2018: Earned 158.75 points in swimming & diving for the Hawks … ranked sixth on the team … earned 113.75 in dual meets … secured another 14 at the Empire 8 Championships … won seven individual events … finished second in another five events … combined for five relay wins … teamed up for another five second-place finishes … scored a 200.78 in a 6-dive, 3-meter event to rank tenth all-time at ’Wick … combined to finish fourth in the 200 medley relay … a part of 200 medley relay team which ranks eighth at ’Wick.

2016-2017: Ranks 10th all-time in 1-meter diving at Hartwick (251.80) … also 10th all-time in 3-meter diving (227.00) … placed fifth at the Empire 8 Championships in the 3-meter event … took sixth in 1-meter diving at the championships … competed in the 100 fly and earned the time of 57.86 at the Sixth Annual Ithaca College Bomber Invite.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Trinity-Pawling … lettered in track for two years for the Pride ... a member of the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club Swim Team for all four years of high school ... qualified for state championships for both short-course and long-course, placing in the top 12 ... regional champion.  
 
Personal: Son of David Gentry and Janet Gill-Gentry … Art major at Hartwick College.
