Turner comes to Hartwick after a successful collegiate playing career at Mitchell College in New London, Connecticut, where she helped the Mariners win their first ever New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) championship. The former point guard picked up several conference awards during her time at Mitchell including three appearances on the All-Tournament team, an appearance on the All-Conference third team in 2019, and most recently being named the NECC Defensive Player of the Year this past season.

In addition to her playing career, Turner has worked youth clinics and has interned with the New London High School Varsity Boys program. As an instructor at the Waterford Recreation League Clinic, the New Rochelle native worked with middle school aged players leading drills, providing instruction and facilitated a question-and-answer session, sharing her experiences as a student-athlete.
