Tucker Glass

Tucker Glass begins his second season as the assistant coach of the women’s lacrosse program in 2015-16. This past season, he helped the Hawks to a record of 6-8 and the program's most Empire 8 wins since 2007.

Prior to Hartwick, he was involved with the men’s lacrosse program for five years as a student-athlete and a volunteer assistant coach at Plattsburgh State University from 2007-2012.

Glass arrived at Hartwick after serving as an intern at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in Indianapolis for the 2013-2014 academic year. While with the NCAA, Glass assisted the governance department staff in their daily operations. Among his many duties throughout the year, was assisting in the organizing and preparation for the 2014 Men’s Lacrosse Championship in Baltimore, MD.

Prior to his work at the NCAA, Glass served as a teacher and coach in the Oswego City School District. In the 2013 season, he assisted the Oswego High School Varsity Girls and also served as head coach of the Oswego Modified Team, leading them to an 11-2 record.

Glass served as Plattsburgh’s team captain in his senior season in 2012. He helped the Cardinals to the SUNYAC playoffs and was named to the All-Tournament Team. He assisted Plattsburgh’s coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in 2010 while he recovered from a season-ending injury.

He was a SUNYAC All-Academic Team member in both 2009 and 2010. He was named to the SUNYAC Commissioner’s List (2011) and was also awarded Plattsburgh’s Provost Award in both semesters in 2011.

Glass was featured in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. He was also inducted as a member of Chi Alpha Sigma Student-Athlete Honors Society.

An active member of the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) at Plattsburgh, Glass served as President of the organization for two years. In addition, he served as the SUNYAC and Empire 8 representative at the NCAA Division III SAAC in 2010. He would remain a representative for three years.
