Why Hartwick? “I chose
Hartwick for several reasons. First, everyone at the college was extremely friendly and helpful and really seemed to take the time to get to know me personally. Second, they are strong academically in the majors that interest me, and a large number of students go abroad to study, which I hope to be able to do. Third, I am going to play soccer in college and the coach made a very positive impact on me and my family. He is very committed to the players and the program, which I cannot say about all (or even many) of the coaches who recruited me. Fourth, they offered me a very good scholarship, so that attending became a real possibility. Finally, it is special that I chose
Hartwick because my dad, two of my aunts and my cousin all attended the college. It is truly meaningful to be a part of that family tradition.”
