Cheryl Johnson

Dr. Cheryl L. Johnson is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice and specializes in researching weapon carrying and use in juveniles in schools by looking at mental health and personality factors.  She's been playing tennis since the age of 3 and competes in a few USTA leagues in Binghamton.  Cheryl is thrilled to work with the women's tennis team as a faculty mentor because, as a college athlete herself, she remembers how reassuring it was to know that there was academic support to back up the student-athletes.
