Brittany Stroop will enter her second season as head coach of the softball program in the 2026 season.
Stroop comes to Hartwick after serving seven years as the Assistant Sports Information Director and Head Softball Coach at SUNY Morrisville. During her time as a part of the Mustangs' staff, she served as the primary contact for women's volleyball, men's ice hockey, and women's hockey. In addition, she was the secondary contact for field hockey, and men's and women's cross country.

Brittany was heavily involved in coordinating several conference championship tournaments, Morrisville's most recent athletics website re-design, and coordinated with the department's Student Athlete Advisory Committee for the annual awards ceremony.

Prior to SUNY Morrisville, Stroop served as the Head Softball Coach at Eastern University, earning 2015 Coach of the Year honors in the Freedom Conference. Stroop began her career in coaching and sports information at Crown College.
Stroop graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and in 2007 with a Master of Arts degree in Education.
