Christian Legagneur was added to the Hartwick Football coaching staff in March of 2025 where he now operates as Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach.
Legagneur comes to Hartwick after serving as Graduate Assistant Corners Coach at Utica University in spring 2024. During his time with the Pioneers, Legagneur held a variety of other titles, including JV Head Coach, Social Media Coordinator, Equipment Manager, Co-Film Coordinator, Safeties Coach in the fall 2023 season, and Outside Linebackers Coach in spring 2023.
During his own playing career, Legagneur tallied numerous athletic accolades, including a two-time selection to the Empire 8 All-Conference First Team in 2021 and 2022 as a defensive back and 2021 All-Region Safety Honors. In his 2022 season with the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons, he was also selected as a captain.
