Wright comes to Hartwick after serving as both a Physical Education Teacher and Head Football Coach at Pine Bush Central School in Pine Bush, New York. During his time, at Pine Bush, he led his team to two Section Nine AA Championships. Wright was named the Section Nine AA Coach of the Year in 2019 and a two-time Times Herald Record Coach of the Year in 2008 and 2012.
Wright holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Health Education from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree in Special Education from Mount Saint Mary College.
