Madden comes to Hartwick after serving as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at The College of St. Rose. While at St. Rose, Madden designed and implemented all strength and conditioning programs for the department’s athletic programs.
Prior to his time at St. Rose, he served as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Union College. Madden has also served as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at both the Rudy A. Ciccotti Family Recreation Center in Colonie, New York and Full Circle Fitness in Albany, New York.
Madden graduated from Arizona State University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Exercise Science from Concordia University of Chicago and is certified by the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator.
