Grunewald captured Upper New York State Collegiate Swimming Association (UNYSCSA) and Empire 8 Conference titles in the 1,650 freestyle event this weekend in Ithaca. His time of 15:59.64 also met NCAA “B” cut standards and he beat out the second-place finisher by over five seconds.
