Rood’s blistering strike from 25 yards out pulled Hartwick level at 1-1 in the 50^th minute of Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Albany. It marked his first goal in a Hartwick uniform. Sixty-one minutes in, Rood would turn provider with an assist as Dean Fowler evened the match at 2-2 in what proved to be the game-tying goal.
