Detar also secured honorable mention All-America accolades at the NCAA Championships. Detar finished 16^th in the 200 butterfly with a finals time of 1:50.52 to earn the award. He also swam to 36^th place in the 200 individual medley (1:54.88) and 45^th in the 100 fly (51.14).
