Lufkin averaged 22 points and 5.5 assists at the Empire 8 Tournament. He shot 60.9 percent from the field (14-of-23) and 92.3 percent from the foul line (12-of-13). Lufkin had a game-high 20 points against Nazareth and finished with a double-double of 24 points and 10 assists against Fisher in the title game. For his efforts, he was named to the All-Tournament Team.
