Zhang won a total of six individual races and he teamed for another one in a relay in a 1-1 week for the men’s swimming and diving team. On Saturday in a 156-138 win over SUNY Oneonta, he was first in the 100 backstroke (55.59), the 100 butterfly (52.93), and the 400 individual medley (4:21.49) while also combining with his teammates for a victory in the 200 medley relay. On Sunday in a 178-114 loss to RPI, Zhang won the 100 back (53.76) and 100 butterfly (52.53) again. He also finished first in the 200 IM in 1:58.75.
