ONEONTA, NY- The women's volleyball team had little trouble with visiting SUNY Cobleskill as they defeated the visiting Fighting Tigers 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-21) on Wednesday night at Lambros Arena. The Hawks improve their record to 7-11 on the season while Cobleskill falls to 4-12.

Courtney Desmond (Cortlandt Manor/Hendrick Hudson) had a solid night for 'Wick as she recorded a team high eight kills, five service aces, and four blocks. Shannon McGee (Cortlandt Manor/Walter Panas) recorded 18 assists and six digs. Brianna Eckert (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) chipped in with 10 assists and four digs. Lauren Mausert (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) had five kills and seven digs.

Hartwick will host SUNY Morrisville this Friday night at 7 p.m. at Lambros Arena.
