Hartwick Volleyball Takes Two Matches at Dig Pink Invitational

Lintner totaled 74 assists on the afternoon

ONEONTA, NY- The Hartwick volleyball team played two matches on the campus on SUNY Oneonta and came away with two wins on Saturday afternoon at the Dig Pink Invitational. Hartwick defeated the City College of New York in its first match of the day 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-21) and then was victorious over the Sage Colleges 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-22).

Against CCNY, Dana Martin (Chester, NY/Burke Catholic) recorded a double-double with 14 kills and 13 digs. Hannah Strom (Kenmore, WA/Inglemoor) had a team-high 17 kills. Brianna Eckert (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) accumulated 12 digs. Britney Lintner (Ravena, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) chipped in 42 assists and also added eight digs.

In the Sage match, Martin led with 10 kills while Strom contributed nine kills and seven digs. Lintner had 32 assists.

Hartwick (14-16) will conclude its season on Tuesday night on the road against SUNY Cobleskill. Game time will be at 7 p.m.
