COBLESKILL, NY- The women's volleyball team ended its 2012 season with a victory as the Hawks defeated the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-23) on Tuesday night.

Hannah Strom (Kenmore, WA/Inglemoor) had nine kills and added seven digs for Hartwick. Shannon McGee (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) contributed eight kills. Dana Martin (Chester, NY/Burke Catholic) accumulated seven kills and six digs. Britney Lintner (Ravena, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) had 28 assists.

The match marked the final contest for seniors McGee, Lintner, Brianna Eckert (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia), and Lauren Heiman (Dansville, NY/Wayland Cohocton).

The Hawks end their season with a final record of 15-16. The 15 wins are the most for the program since the team went 19-14 in 2007. The Hawks also close the campaign with 10 wins in their final 13 matches.
