HOBOKEN, NJ- The women's volleyball team resumed Empire 8 play on Friday night against Houghton and fell to the Highlanders 3-0 (10-25, 20-23, 14-25) on Friday evening. Stevens Institute is the host school for this weekend's matches.

Britney Lintner (Ravena, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) led the Hawks in assists with 21. She also added six digs. Brianna Eckert (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) had eight digs and Hannah Strom (Kenmore, WA/Inglemoor) contributed seven digs.

Laurel Wroblisky led the Highlanders with 22 digs. Hannah Compeau contributed 11 digs while Jaime Green chipped in 10 digs along with 33 assists. Rebecca Dennee had a team-high 14 kills and Hattie Burgher contributed 19 kills.

The Hawks resume play with two matches on Saturday. Hartwick will face Elmira at 10 a.m. and Alfred at 3 p.m.
