ONEONTA, NY – Visiting SUNY Oneonta topped Hartwick's women's swimming and diving team on Saturday by a final count of 162-126. The loss drops the Hawks' overall record to 4-3.
Channing Lewis (Canton, OH/Canton McKinley) won a pair of races for the Hawks on the day. She would begin the afternoon with a victory in the 1000 freestyle. Her time in the event was 11:18.67. She would also earn a win in the 500 free event with a time of 5:31.95.
Olivia Bart (Bristol, CT/Bristol Eastern) would take first in the 50 freestyle. She touched the wall in 25.36 seconds.
Ally Schroeder (Plantsville, CT/Southington) also earned a win for the Hawks in the 100 backstroke. She raced to a time of 1:06.59.
The women's swimming and diving team is back in action tomorrow against visiting RPI. Diving begins at 10 a.m. with swimming to follow at 1 p.m.
