Recap: Bryant & Stratton scored five first-half goals to pull away from Hartwick in the opening 45 minutes Saturday in a 7-0 victory in Syracuse. Alex Pompo and Zino Zampach each scored two goals for the Bobcats on the day. Delano Hodge, Bogdan Milovanovic, and Kyle McGibbons also tallied. Jimmy Noel (Cap Haitian, Haiti/Baldwin) and Heitor Ferriera (East Williston, NY/The Wheatley School) registered Hartwick's shots. Noel had a good chance in the opening half when he was played through on goal but his shot at the edge of the box was saved by Bobcat keeper Babucarr Ceesay. Aidan Wholihan (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's Annapolis) got the start in goal. He played the first half and made seven saves. Jack Riordan (East Stroudsburg, PA/East Stroudsburg) played the second half and made eight stops for 'Wick.

John Scott Quotes: "This game was played in such miserable conditions that I have to picture the scene for everyone. The match kicked off on a surface that resembled a marsh, and by half time the marsh had turned into a swamp. With our goalkeeper literally freezing in his goal, he was limited in his movement when attempting to stop at least three of Bryant and Stratton's first half goals. Our opponents are #2 in the nation at their level and that showed today. The conditions were the same for both teams obviously, but they dealt with this aspect way more comfortably. Our guys fought hard and I have no complaints with the attitude. We'll now get ready for our last game of the fall at Nazareth on Monday at 6 p.m."

Up Next: The Hawks wrap up the 2018 season on Monday with a match at Nazareth College. Kickoff is 6 p.m.
