Recap: Four different players scored goals as Hartwick field hockey defeated visiting Sage by a 4-0 final score Wednesday at Wright Stadium. Katie Meuse (Londonderry, NH/Londonderry) broke the ice at the 23:09 mark as she cleaned up a loose ball in front and scored her third goal of the season. Bella Wheeler (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) added to the total as she scored off rebound just eight seconds before halftime. Allyson Quirk (Longmeadow, MA/Longmeadow) made it a three-goal game 7:21 into the second half. Perry Willett (Huntington, VT/Mount Mansfield Union) would earn the assist. Maria Stalder (New Woodstock, NY/Cazenovia) closed out the scoring at the 61:04 mark of the game. Meuse assisted on the play. The Hawks would hold a 26-0 edge in shots in the contest. The Hawks earned 20 penalty corners to the Gators' one. Allyson Osborne (Nottingham, PA/Solanco) earned the shutout despite not making a save. Alicia Swavely made 14 saves for the Gators.
