Recap: 'Wick snapped its two-match winning streak with a 7-2 loss to Alfred University Saturday at Wilber Park. The Hawks fell behind 3-0 after the Saxons swept the doubles portion of the contest. Victoria Wilson (Trenton, NY/Trenton Catholic Academy) earned a 6-1, 6-1 win in second singles for the Hawks. Bella Mastrion (Greenfield Center, NY/Saratoga Springs) also secured a victory in third singles, 6-4, 6-3. Sallie Suski (Glenville, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) and Alyssa Wilson (San Antonio, TX/MacArthur) were outlasted in super tie-breakers. Suski fell in the first flight 6-4, 5-7, 11-9. Alyssa Wilson dropped a 7-5, 5-7, 10-2 decision in sixth singles.
