Recap: Hartwick went the distance in both of their matches on Saturday to wrap up play at the Keuka College Tournament. In their opener, the Hawks fell behind twice but battled back in the fourth set 25-21 to force a fourth and deciding set. Hartwick would come out on top winning the fifth 15-8.
Maria Sorriento (Troy, NY/Troy) earned a match-high 21 kills. She also added nine digs.
Myla Dobson (Burnt Hills, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) and
Celia Gagnon (Kinderhook, NY/Ichabod Crane) each contributed nine kills in the win.
Jamie Reidy (Elmira, NY/Horseheads) would dish out a career-best 44 assists.
Katie Boak (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) had a match-high 20 digs to pace the Hawks defensively.
Kiera Walsh (Burnt Hills, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) added 11. In the Hawks' second match, the Kangaroos jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Hartwick came back to tie the match with wins in the third and fourth set, 25-22, and 25-21, respectively. Canton, however, would take the final set 15-10 along with the match. Sorriento registered a career-high 24 kills. The total is tied for fifth all-time at Hartwick.
Kaitlyn Ludder (West Sand Lake, NY/Averill Park) also was in double figures for kills with 10 and digs with 15. Reidy topped her previous career-best in the first match with 48 assists. She also had the team-high with 16 digs.
Andrea Debboli (Troy, NY/Averill Park) chipped in with 13 digs and Boak added 11.

Up Next: Hartwick hosts its own tournament next Friday and Saturday at Lambros Arena. The Hawks open up against King's College on Friday at 4 p.m.
