CAZENOVIA, NY- The Hartwick men's cross country team was in action today at the Cazenovia Homecoming Invitational hosted by Cazenovia College at Fenner Fields. The men's team placed third.
Senior Captain
Caleb Mallery (Endicott, NY/Union Endicott) finished first for the Hawks and fourth overall on the eight-kilometer course in a time of 31:06.8.
Aidan Freda (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley) finished next in fifteenth place with a time of 32:07.3. Senior Captain
Mark Garceau (Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) was the third Hawk to cross the finish line in seventeenth place in a time of 33:10.0.       Â
Freshman
Pablo Gutierrez (Cliffside, NJ/Cliffside) finished in twenty-first place in a time of 34:20.4. Senior
Omar Nelson (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) rounded out the Hawks scoring in twenty-third place with a time of 34:33.9.
Senior
Will May (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) finished as the Hawks' lone displacer in fifty-sixth place.
The Hawks will next be in action on Saturday October 9 at the Hamilton Invitational hosted by Hamilton College at the Hamilton College Golf Course in Clinton, NY at 11AM.
