CLINTON, NY- The Hartwick men's cross country team was in action today at the Hamilton Invitational hosted by Hamilton College at the Hamilton College Golf Course. The men's team placed fifth.
Freshman
Aidan Freda (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley) finished first for the Hawks and thirty-first overall on the muddy eight-kilometer course in a new personal best time of 29:53.6. Senior Captain
Caleb Mallery (Endicott, NY/Union Endicott) finished next in thirty-fourth place with a time of 29:59.8. Senior Captain
Mark Garceau (Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) was the third Hawk to cross the finish line in forty-third place in a time of 30:52.8.       Â
Freshman
Pablo Gutierrez (Cliffside, NJ/Cliffside) finished in fifty-eighth place in a new personal best time of 32:51.9. Senior
Omar Nelson (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) rounded out the Hawks scoring in sixty-eighth place with a time of 33:24.6.
Senior(s)
Will May (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) Sean Waltman (Sayre, PA/Athens) finished as the Hawks' displacers in eightieth and ninety-first place(s) respectively.
The Hawks will next be in action on Saturday October 23 at the Hamilton Short Course Tune-up Invitational hosted by Hamilton College at the Hamilton College Golf Course in Clinton, NY at 11AM.
