HOUGHTON, NY – Hartwick women's tennis split a pair of matches with Alfred and Houghton on Saturday and in the process clinched a spot in the Empire 8 Conference playoffs.
           
Hartwick (1-5) travels to Utica College (4-2) on Tuesday, March 30 for an Empire 8 Tournament first round matchup.
           
Freshman Jade Killikelly (Jamaica, NY/The Mary Louis Academy) swept her singles matches on the day. She won 8-0 against Alfred in the day's opener and came away with an 8-5 victory versus Houghton in the second contest.
           
Killikelly also teamed up with junior Victoria Wilson (Trenton, NY/Trenton Catholic) for a pair of doubles wins. The duo won 8-6 against the Saxons and 8-4 against Highlanders.
